General description
The EAS2-SRM is the Input Device for the SRM systems. It provides one connection for monitoring of the external circuit open/close state, and one input for the AC mains presence detection. Device conforms to the SRM protocol, and could be integrated into the emergency lighting system as an input device.

The EAS2-SRM monitoring device does not include battery, so on the old MWEB systems unit will be rejected during initialization. Old control software is not able to read the device information, so unit shows up as a generic emergency unit (device 8:1 on image below), which could be configured as a monitoring device. The MWEB control software, starting from the revision 2102.1836, enables parameter read, and shows detailed device parameters with a serial number, and device type as RPTY (devices 0:1 and 0:6)
Device info
The state of the monitored switcj is always shown on the information page. The optional mains detection, is shown only when present. For compatibility with the SRM protocol, the switch state is shown as a battery connection state, and mains detection, as a defective lamp.

For the parameters page, only start/stop of the device identification is available.
Device could be trigerring the email notifications on the monitored switch change.
