Wireless systems

Wireless connectivity is available as an extension to the existing bus communication systems from Sander Elektronik: SRM bus and MIRO bus (DALI compatible). The wireless communication could be implemented with following options:
1. 2.4 GHz ISM radio module OP-RADIO
2. 2.4 GHz Bluetooth module OP-RADIO2
3. 868 MHz IQRF
4. 2.4 GHz ISM extended with 868 IQRF repeaters

The wireless system extension is available as virtual circuits. In both cases the virtual circuit has capacity of 64 ELU units. Individual units are communicating with the central gateway through reconfigurable wireless mesh network. The connectivity between nodes can be extended by introducing the relay nodes, which are not counted as active Emergency Lighting Units. Current routing table capacity is 513 elements. Each element can address 512 points in the mesh network, which translates up to 8 virtual circuits of 64 nodes each, assuming there are no relay units used.

System required components:

  • MWeb controller – provides web server with whole system status information and control
  • DUROBOX-MF – wireless gateway with virtual SRM circuits and OP-RADIO module
  • DUROLIGHT-Wireless Emergency Lighting Units
  • Wireless-relay nodes (optional for extended range coverage)
